International Women’s Day 2022

International Women's Day 2022

Lucie Pollard Interview

For International Women’s Day this year, we spoke to the fantastic Lucie Pollard, Director of UWS London Campus. In this interview, she speaks about what International Women’s Day means to her, the first time she experienced bias, women she admires and how she thinks women’s roles have changed over the past 20 years.

International Women’s Day on the March 8th 2022, is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. At UWS London, we believe the day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

The theme this year is #BreaktheBias. The campaign asks women to cross their arms in solidarity to call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping. Together, we can forge women’s equality.

Find out about the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day.
